Two new patterns.... almost finished!

Below are rough images of two new patterns that I am almost finished writing.  Starry, Starry Night, the first quilt is made using 'Modern Muddle' fabrics by Karen Combs, and are available from Button Tree Quilts right now!  The pattern will be available by Wednesday 28th March 2012.

I have also been asked to teach this as a class, so watch this space for details or contact Kate.

This second quilt is perfect for the little girl in your life.  Made with gorgeous prints by Deborah Valancia for David Textiles, the fabrics are a dream to sew with!  This single bed sized quilt goes together so quickly you can have it finished in a weekend.  Once again, the fabric is available right now, and the pattern will be available on Wednesday, 28th March 2012. Contact Kate at Button Tree Quilts for more details.

Monkey Business!

Kate at Button Tree Quilts asked me to teach a class on how to turn a panel from ordinary to outstanding!  Class to be held on the 21st April, 2012.  Contact Kate at Button Tree Quilts for further details.

Sunflowers!

Sunflower's!  Aren't sunflowers so cheerful?

My customer asked for sunflowers as they were special to her - so sunflowers she got!  After all, that's what I like to do, quilt whatever YOU want on YOUR quilt.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

This quilt was pieced and quilted for a customer recently.  I loved reading the Hungry Caterpillar stories to my classes when I was teaching, so I really went to town!  I quilted caterpillar's around the inner sashing and hand embroidered eyes on the front and reverse.
